Hola Amigos!
Como Estas??
(I'm learning.. give me credit)
Anywayz!
I am going to visit my friend in July (bogota) and we are thinking about going to visit San Andres (She has been there 2 time before).
Since it's my treat when I visit, how much does it cost for a 1 week all inclusive trip for 2 to San Andres. (Decameron Resort preferably.)
I have heard 550-650 $US ?? any accurate ideas?
because..
From here,Canada, to San andres, 1 person 1 week everything included (airfare also) is 1250$ Canadian.
She is unsure for her parents always paid for the trip.
I'm soo excited to hopefully get to see San Andres (Bluest water in the world I am told, and i believe it from the pictures!! WOWW!)

thur says on Mar 16, 2006, 02:59: Any travelagency... You could walk in into any travelagency (in Bogotá) to work out the exact details and get information on what's on sale at the moment. Seen as she has been there twice before you could let her do the work ("fine, book it, I'll pay"). You can get an idea on the price on: http://www.co.despegar.com Paquetes Domesticos San Andres Island, however their offers are for March. Deskubra.net shows a 3-days packagedeal for about 925.000 COP a person in high season so for any longer stay you'll have to count on more (1 USD = 2150 COP). - pbase.com/thur 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

MedellinViking says on Mar 16, 2006, 06:04: I was just looking at Medellin to San Andres in August this past week. If you think you want the Decameron your best bets are the Sunrise or the Marisol properties. Third would be the Aquarium. If you want the better properties book as far in advance as possible. The cost including airfare was about 1.200.000 inc airfare. The travel agency I use in Medellin doesn't charge a fee for credit card and I got an interbank exchange rate of 2260/ 1 USD yesterday (3/15). There are many other choices besides the Decameron resorts that you may want to explore, just search the PBH threads and you can find a variety of recent opinions. Live your fantasies because life is short and from all I've seen death is really, really long.... 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Lostgringo says on Mar 23, 2006, 14:50: San Andreas a Dump I am sorry to report that I did not like the island nor the retsort I was at (Decameron...St. Louis). The swimming pools are the size of a postage stamp and the beaches I saw were littered with crap. The town is poverty ridden. You cannot drink most of the water in your room. On the bright side the Aquarium is a beautifull piece of property. I would suggest you go to a better place and better beach, friendlier people...Santa Marta. Just my opinion.
