Samper Mendoza neighborhood in Bogota

Althougth I don´t see many security issues in the area, I just pass by, the neighborhood used to have bad reputation for beein a "deshuesadero de carros", plus I had not seem any big apartment complex in the area, you will be better at Usatama a neighborhood next to Samper Mendoza, there are some nice old apartments near Carrera 30 and calle 22 or something. The area is near Paloquemao localidad de los Mártires as well.

Paloquemao, is a big market of produce, or a place to buy groceries brough straight from the farms. Mártires (one of about 21 localidades) is the name of the area that covers Samper Mendoza, Usatama, Paloquemao and other neighborhoods.
