Hola mis llaves. I arrived Thursday ON TIME ON AVIANCA, and they made amends for their past sins and upgraded me to business class, and class it was. I was assigned seat 1A, next to a colombiana-barranquillera now living in Miami and returning to La Curramba for the first time in 3 years. For all of you who have been around PBH for a while, this girl looked like a 22 year old version of kat1!!!. Ok I regress...I was met at the airport by the Corroncho Cab Company, which is Elmo´s sobrino...Cannot say enough good things about Jhon...if you are coming here, get his number from Modofoque and hire his ass in a heartbeat...Friday we went to Museo Romantico to see the historical archives of BAQ...very cool...tried to go out dancing Friday night but the rain turned the streets into arroyos and even the cabs shut down for 4 hours...Saturday dining at a 5 star Italian restaurant...dinner for 2 and a good bottle of wine for 43 usd...then out dancing vallenato and salsa at a couple of nice dives...Sunday in Puerto Colombia with the comandantes family for a visit with her uncle...lots of Pastos jokes and his attempt to scare me with stories of burra love...I told him that´s old hat...I got Elmo! A couple of quick notes...I read the analytical futbol thread here about Colombias victory yesterday against Mexico...all I gotta say is that the modofoques here went nuts, and a win is a win is a win...Racism is alive and well, it´s hotter than a rat in a cane fire as they say in Hawaii, and life is good...Mas en un rato...no jodas.

elmodefoque says on Jul 19, 2005, 06:44: Miguel, nojoda cuadro, I can’t think of a better place to be right now than curramba. You, my nephew, me and thousands of young fine sweaty drunken barranquilleras. One of the many things I love about curramba is the heat, nothing gets me as horny as walking around with sweaty balls, just imagine what’s going on in those barranquilleras panties. My nephew John told me that you’re one super chevere crazy gringo modefoque and is glad you speak Spanish cause he only knows two words in English “mother f—ker”. Unlike me, that modefoque knows every nook and cranny of barranquilla, and when I ‘m there, criminals don’t even think about f--king with us, one look at that big modefoque , especially a big corroncho modefoque like him, is enough to stop any sonamanbiche. I posted a pic of John in my image gallery. I'll get there, when I get there! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Miguel says on Jul 19, 2005, 13:33: Modo Y Tone La Curramba is hitting on almost all 8 cylinders...Cannot wait for 20 de julio manana...also thank God for el padre de la comandante, que es paisa y puede traducir las palabras de la costa para mi. It´s sort of like a cross between cockney and West Virginia English, at times. Film at 11...nos vemos mas tarde mis llaves.

Miguel says on Jul 22, 2005, 16:16: Saludos Primero, kat 1...she was stunning indeed, just like you. She gave everyone in first class an eyeful when she got up to use the restroom, with those low cut jeans and that thong...que cosa! A couple of gringos thought she was with me, since she spoke hardly a word of English, but we conversed quite well in Spanish. When I told these gringos that I just met here, it was like a flock of buzzards or goleras moving in for the kill...I felt sorry for those dudes, because their lack of social skills or game, if you will, was so obvious. And tone, 20 julio was weird...no traffic in Barranquilla...that in and of itself is bizarre...La Curramba was actually quiet. There were a few parades and ceremonies, but it was laid back. We took the trencito from the port to the mouth of the Magdalena yesterday through Las Flores, and it is a trip I highly recommend...the contrasts in lifestyle in just 3 miles is something to witness. More to come...no jodas, cuadros.

Miguel says on Jul 24, 2005, 21:39: Good Weekend Aqui Went to Charanga 79 with the whole family on Friday...held my own dancing salsa and vallenato...Saturday was chill time and English lessons to those who wanted to learn more...Sunday, today, was fantastic...I went to Carrefour yesterday and spent 55 us on food and fed 12 people today...filete de puerca, ensalada, pan italiano, corn on the cob, helado y cake. We started drinking Ron Medellin around 11am, and while I have given up, la familia de la comandante are still pounding it away con saludos a Miguel y su almuerzo fantastico. It was a blast, mis cuadros. Damn I love this country.
