Colombiche I have too many! OK so this is the romantic classics that I like but you should start a new thread for Salsa bailable hits or something as I have many of those too LOL

Colombiche says on Oct 8, 2007, 12:50:

Mona, Te Necesito Mi Amor and Siempre sere are written by colombian composer M. Ibarra, a lady partly resposible for propelling contemporary salsa greats like Tito Rojas, Tito Gomez, Maelo Ruiz, Primi Cruz, Puerto Rican Power... (and countless others) into stardom.

I just want to bring to light the fact that many apparently Puerto rican salsa hits are actually the work of colombian composers. Most of the songs I have posted belong to the 80's and 90' colombian/rican salsa romantica/erotica movement, except for Ruben Blades. I think we would have to create a separate thread if we want to give homage to the Fania era classics.

One of the now defunct salsa Titan Tito Gomez hits is "Paginas de amor" is also the work of another colombian composer whose name evades me right now.... damn, does anybody know his name? This song is a freaking masterpiece through and through. Bravo.

Colombiche that’s good know that “many apparently Puerto rican salsa hits are actually the work of colombian composers." I did not know that, that's interesting news.
Let's say that someone reads this post off the www or a new pbh member would like to know the name of the composers, do you have their names to share with us?

Monpirri, I know that Grupo Gale are the producers/composers of Maelo Ruiz's last 2 albums and a 3rd one which should be coming out around November I think.
Another of my favorites
