If you want to really learn salsa, go to Cali. They have very good schools there and they were world champions in 2007. Colombian style salsa dancing is On 1 or cuban style. New York Style salsa is On 2 or Eddie Torres style. By the New York Salsa Congress starts this week at the New York Hilton and several Colombian salsa dancers will be performing.

I saw these same dancers at The World Salsa Championships in Orlando, Florida. There is a team from Cali and I believe the young ladie's name is Judy. Fantastic salsa dancer and of course moreno como yo.

Sly...you are right, Judy Aguilar and her partner is Genner Vasquez, I had the pleasure of meeting them when they came to Texas to visit Caleñea friends. Now that I think of it I had the pleasure of paying for one ticket to get them from Miami to Dallas.
