lgvon says on Aug 5, 2009, 23:20: I read the latest issue of Lonely Planet on Colombia. In the section on safety it says that Colombia is now safer than Ecuador. Guayaquil has always had a bad reputation for crime. It's also very hot and humid. I don't know if that means the Colombia has become safer or Ecuador has become more dangerous. Quien sabe? Larry in Seattle for the moment. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Buongone says on Aug 7, 2009, 00:54: There is not much in Puerto Lopez. Small little town. Some nice homes along the shore going towards Isla Solango. That area is the debarkation spot for the galapagos islands. Did go snorkeling at Solango. They have a giant hotel up on a cliff. Other than that, not much there. A dirty little fishing village.
