Safe place to stay in Bogota for a month and a half

Looking for a safe economical place to stay in Bogota,
If anyone can help with information or suggestions I'll be very grateful.

My wife and I will be traveling to Bogota next month to visit friends and would like to rent a furnished apartment preferably but will also considered a bed and breakfast or similar accomodations.
