Safe, inexpensive, clean hotel in CTG (visitor's friendly)

Could anybody recommend me a safe, inexpensive and clean hotel in CTG, preferably in Centro or Bocagrande. Inexpensive means between 25 and 35 USD per night. It would be very useful to have a room in a visitor's friendly hotel, i.e. a hotel not charging you an extra fee if someone comes with you to your room.
Thanks in advance

pfffff
can i find a nice, pfffff

can i find a nice, fast, trustworthy, clean, well painted car with a $superb stereo for les than 100?

Cartagena is too damn expensive these days, i went last Jan with a brazilian friend and we couldn't find anything.

This time of the year, maybe you can find something, but as december gets closer, cartagena becomes even more expensive than miami (its a fact!)

try something nicer

Some serious information The objective of my posting was to find a serious advice as to a moderately priced hotel. All these comments given so far do not help me much. So please provide me with some useful and serious advice regarding the subject. Thanks again !

Hans RTFF. And at certain times of the year, there are no places in your price range.

Dan - CTG is the most expensive city in Colombia, and it gets a lot more expensive during high season. But more expensive than Miami?? Not quite.

Mac - Try trolling along Avenida San Martin in Boca Grande, near the Clock Tower or along Avenida Media Luna in Getsemani.

There are bargains to be had in CTG if you know where and when to look.

Hansbert tomtom knows the "lay of the land", so to speak, when it comes to Cartagena. On PBSH, you need to take many posts with a grain of salt. You can take his to the bank, from what I know.
