RUBIAZO LIVE SEPT 15

Rubio will be playing your favorites from the 60s 70s and 80s LIVE Thursday Sept 15 in honor of the international ´día de amor y amistad´.
The place is Orange bar, which is on the east side of the Centro Comercial de los Heroes, right around the corner from the Heroes Transmilenio station. The address is Transversal 18 # 79-39. You can also get off at 76th.; its just as good. Just walk around to the other side of the mall and look for the orange and green.
Show time will be 8pm, give or take. I will be playing until the crowd disperses. I will get a bonus if i can keep you freaks there past 11pm!
I know a lot of you are hanging out in Bogota now so COME OUT and see if I´m really as fucked up in person as I am on the net! It´s a small little place but very nice inside and well-run with a great crowd.

Rubiazo my man, I would love nothing more than to be in Bogotá to see your honky ass play. Can you guys use an old Guajiro tambora playing modefoque? I used to play authentic (the real deal) old cumbias with a group of kids from Cienega, of course I choose the easiest instrument, tambora, as you could see from my pics. I still get goose bumps when I hear the sound of old cumbias played with originals instruments, especially the deep heart pounding sound coming from burro skin tamboras using dried-up guayaba sticks for maximum volume.

Que Cosa Colombiche El Modofoque todavia esta guapo...pero ahora con cabello blanco. PBH has been an interesting experience for the last year and a half...lot's of great information, lot's of total bullshit, and characters...como Zagarise...yet there are others I communicate with regularly...and you know who you are. However, I must tell you that Elmo and I spent a little time together in La Curramba during Carnaval 2005, and I hope others here can have that same opportunity.

Miguel, I already told my very young wife that we are going to Colombia and she’s NOT invited. After I removed her shoe from my ass I told her that is only for 2 weeks and that we’ll be in Bogotá visiting el museo de oro and that cathedral, but in reality is gonna be carnaval de Barranquilla ‘06 with lots of booze, drugs and broads, 2 weeks 24/7. El Prado would be nice, they got a nice size swimming pool and we could fill that place up with a bunch of wild women.

What instruments do you play? I think guitars.
I am sure this is going to be tremendous concert. Those were the days we heard the best songs specially the 80´s.
I remember many artists like Journey, Survivor, Chicago, and so many more good bands and groups.
