I'm traveling from California to take care of many, but many family obligations. It seems that when I travel to Colombia for the last 3 times has been rush here and there and no time to relax. This time I am commited to doing both, busy work and relaxing visiting with my family. But I need some preparation.
1. I'd like to visit San Andres and Providencia but need names of travel agencies in Bogota, and package deals/info to purchase trip to San Adres y Providencia.
2. I'd like go to Bucaramanga to visit and search for my half-brother and would like to know what's the best airline trip to there and other info on hotels. Need safe place to stay!! heard it's dangerous and large city for a woman and 89 year old man to travel alone. The bus trip would be too exhausting with the all those curves and "prisipisios" that just turn my stomach!!!! ugh the nausea
Thanks for tips, ahead of time.

Besorob says on Mar 5, 2005, 15:41: Travel Agency and hotel on San Andres I went to San Andres 1 time. I used the travel agency Aviatur, which has many offices in Bogota. On San Andres, Decamaron has 5 or 6 all inclusive hotels on San Andres. I stayed at the Isleno(n=nye). It was not the fanciest hotel, but the rooms where nice, food good, the hotel was nice, and it was locating across from what I think was the nicest beach on San Andres. Only problem was that they would not make the reservations over the phone, so I had to wait until I got to Bogota and did a lot of waiting while they made they reservations. Decameron has an office in Bogota, but the prices were higher than with the travel agencies(not sure why). I didn't go the Providencia. Besorob 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
