Robledo, Medellin

Robledo Miramar to be more exact. I'm not sure exactly how addresses work but Robledo was listed by a previous poster as being a dangerous area. I did a search on this site and only came up with that. If anyone can tell me more about this neighborhood, good or bad, I would greatly appreciate it. How far is it the closest metro stop? Can you live there without a car? Things like that. Thanks in advance.

Spigrimace and those near Floresta I hear your near the Floresta station. Also I recall you offering to help me with tickets to Juanes (http://poorbuthappy.com/colombia/node/13365). I'm still very interested - ready to payPay you. There's lots I'd love to talk about when I get to your bar the weekend of the Juanes show. Please contact me amigo - I PM'ed you twice. Also I'm looking for a decent hotel near Floresta. I don't know if I want to stay with my "family" the whole time so a hotel is an option that offers more flexibility.

Hotels along La 70 There are several mid priced hotels along la 70 street near Estadio metro station, you can take the metro to La Floresta, just two stations west from La 70.

I spent a considerable amount of time in robledo-diamante. It was safe enough to walk the streets.. My soon to be ex-wife, visa hunter(I'm not bitter) lived there. she says it is an estrato 3-4 barrio, but I don't see 4, IMHO

Good Luck,
Shanidar
