One thing for sure, even though Mods job is hard and their opinion is as respected as the next poster, it is better for them not to get in the tramp of name calling or I am right you are wrong attitute.

Also even though PBH is not the institution to punish or investigate every issue any member is not happy with, Pbh is doing a great job at running this "madhouse" :-)

The trustees are our advisory board. It's like a council of elders except that you don't have to be elderly to be a trustee. They play an important role on policy-making and discussing guidelines. It make PBH more "democratic" and is of great help to us the mods in defining and troubleshooting moderation issues. By no means a "rubber stamp" entity, the members have been hand-picked not for their affinity with the mods and the administrator/owner, but rather for their long-time interest and contributions to this board. We were very specific from the very beginning about the fact that we wanted a group of people with varying experience and outlook in life, not just people who would say yes to everything but people who would disagree and could debate their points of view without recurring to petty personal attacks.

The other term you asked, would that be dev? At the same time as the trustee group was created also a development team was implemented,; people with computer skills that help us develop new features and maintain the site in good running conditions.
