Ritacuma Blanca

I'm planning to climb the Ritacuma blanca in January while passing on the Cocuy curcuit. I have crampons and rope and harnesses. Do I need to get ice axes too or will we be ok? any other info on Cocuy and Ritacuma blanca are also welcome! thanks!

I presume you mean Ritacuba blanca.
I haven't been there, but I would take ice axes to be on the safe side.

Climbed it with harnesses, rope, crampons but without axes. though it sure is possible this way, I would recommend ice axes for anyone else trying it. the last 50ft are precarious
