Rewards is not the way to go

In the case of the kidnapped kid in Bogotà, supossely masterminded by his own uncle in order to bride his sister`s sentimental companion a foreigner from China.

The uncle snitched all the other participants in order to get the reward. It is a very sad history, it is even sad to believe it is real, the use of illegal activities and that of an infant. It is very shamefull.

Poor kid and everyone involved in the case.

There is a saying, El fin justifica los medios, in this case it is not acceptable the kidnapping and the offer of rewards in order to turn in culprits. although justice need to be made, police should use rewards as a last resort, but it seem is the main weapon even for guerrilleros.

Then again, the reward did get him to tell the cops where the kid was, did it not? Bottom line, the kid is safe and the PesOS are in jail (from where they might not make it out alive, oh darn), that is a happy ending to me.

People down here are always screwing over their own family members (a lot times quiet literally) so it really isn't much of a shocker. Horrible, but not shocking.
