Review of 'Colombia Jail Journal'

An Irish review tells us there are better ways to spend our money than buying terrorist James Monaghan's account of his Colombian adventure:

Great post Kalder. The story alone would lure me to buy the book, but your "review" will keep me at bay. I'm an Irish-American who loves traveling to Colombia, so obviously this interests me. There are a lot of similarities between Farc and IRA.

Interesting review and it's good to see an Irish perspective on the "Colombia Three" and their version of the events.

I'm ashamed to show my ignorance- but it's true that these "Colombia Three" are likely responsible for the FARC becoming more sophisticated with regard to armaments? Or just posturing? Or does anyone really know, maybe is a more appropriate question? jajajajja

In their heyday, the Provisional IRA were generally considered to be the ne plus ultra of terrorist bomb makers.

I'm sure their coke cash purchased expertise helped the ordnance arms of the FARC significantly.

So it seems he says nothing in his book. Thanks Kalder, that's the type of book I would have bought, I'll give it a miss.
