return from cucuta

What a shi#hole. But I had a great time. It is not as hot as everyone says, not like Cartagena but the air pollution is repressive. I am an avid runner and I think if was to run 2km that I may get lung cancer. I stayed at the Hotel Tonchala and it was comfortable and rather nice($60 a night). Good air conditioning and Hot Water(what more can you ask for in South America). I had a great time with a yong lady that I had recently met in Costa Rica. Food was cheap and she could care less about shopping. Yes guys a beautiful young Colombiana who does not want anything from Studio F and never one time asked me for money for her family....by the way all Gringos out there...I was there for 5 days and saw not a one(gringo) if you want to meet beautiful woman with No competition (the men are all about 5 foot 5 and fat) go to Cucuta.....there is a great Venezulana and Colombiana mix.....

Has anyone been to Mompox? I was reading about this town that is a UNESCO world heritage site on the Magdalena river. It sounds realllllllllly isolated and hard to get to. Has anyone been? how did you get there, and what was the journey like? What were your impressions of it. I pretty much want a reaally slow cheap place to relax and write, and would be going alone. What were the people in the area like? Did you feel welcomed? It doesn't sound like many people make it out that way.
