Restaurants in Cali

I live near Jardin Plaza which lacks good restaurants or have been unable to find some. Can someone name a few decent restaurants? Something better than Fridays but not as expensive as Gino and Geogetti.

Nice cafes and restaurants in GRANADA,, tons of then, side street cafes and restaurants very nice and chic and people watching and eye candy... like 9th and 9thA to 12-15th street.. everything you are looking for.. The highest end people in Cali go there.

Given you are by jardin plaza I would suggest you try some of the restaurants in ciudad jardin, there's plenty of good ones and you avoid going up north.

Is Las Dos Parrillas/Los Girasoles still there? Great beef.
Tardes Calenas was always good.
How about La casa de Manolo... paella...still there?
What's good in Ciudad Jardin?
We went to a little place near la casa de cerveza...small place, pricy, but good ceviche...Spanish (Spain) sounding name.

There is a very good Mexican place on restaurant row in Granada. The name escapes me but I have said it here before. Fast foody sort of place, god value, authentic food which is actually spicy.

Cali Viejo has al fresco courtyard tables, very lovely setting... you can hear and see the Cali Rio flowing... meseras dressed like long ago. Very beautiful grounds, ... guarded! (jajaja.. what are they still guarding there?) The wine and beer was great and so was the company! I imagine the food was good, too!

If you want something more serene... go to the Intercontinental Hotel and go to the restaurante al fresco by the pool.... It's all enclosed. great service... very tranquil, muy linda... and great menu .
