Restaurantes Costeños en Nueva York?

I've visted a few "Costeño" (Cartagena, Barranquilla...) restaurants in Hialeah, FL, but I haven't found any in New York City. Can anyone provide any guidance or help?

Is Jackson Heights not accessible for you. Gotta have something there with all the people from Baranquilla.

I agree. It's such a shame paisas seem to control ALL restaurants in the exterior. It's like they're McDonald's. Same chit everywhere: Miami, NY, LA, London, Tokyo.

Caracas Arepa Bar
(My Colombian friends in NYC prefer this place to any another)

These are the only two my friends in NYC go to or talk about.

Both are totally excellent.

Thanks everyone, you've all confirmed what I've always known. There are no costeño restaurants in the tri-state area. How sad. :(

There are a few in Florida.
They just don't like to travel abroad as much and when they do travel abroad, the well educated ones, love to open clinics and other larger enterprises.
