Did you see the feature on colombianas joining a dating service in Bogota, so they could find a norteamericano? The girls stated their reasons why they paid their hard earned money to do so. There was footage of a meet and greet party, and quotes from both the colombianas and the gringos. (Not a single gringo spoke a word of Spanish). The funniest part was watching those guys "dance". As Elmo would say..."the funky chicken gringo dance". Perhaps you can access the story off the Univision website.

miamimike says on Jan 10, 2005, 11:30: Was the Show Christina?? I saw this about 6 months ago in the Reruns of Christina running in the early AM hours. If this was the same show I saw-it had 3 Young Colombianas and one gringo appearing Male but in fact he was not a Gringo but a German who speaks very fluent spanish, along with english, german, french and italian. I personally know him and he is married to a lady from manizales, Col.I kidded him the next time I saw him as he hardly said a word on the show. The Ladies stated they were looking for a Northamerican for the above reasons another posted stated. Dancing ability was never mentioned ; concerning this subject, Dancing, the World Ballroom Champs(Latin Ballroom Division) a few years ago in Salsa was a British Couple. A japanese couple were the runner-ups so that defies the cliche "Fair skinned guys dance with 2 left feet and no rhythm".It would have been interesting to see if these 3 colombian ladies ever found their "mitad mejor" through the agency. Some of these Colombian Ladies have inaccurate ideas on American Males-not all americanos are bad, not all are good. Perfect we are not!! Avatar Legend: Bush "If any of you Reporters are wondering, it was a Size 10" 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Miamigo says on Jan 10, 2005, 17:42: losers Any gringo who goes through these agencies to find somebody is a total loser in my book. The chicas I can understand a little bit more, more or less -- they need a meal ticket, and they aren't finding one in Colombia.

On reaching my room I proceeded to give it the works and unfortunately she developed an air leak. The brain is like a parachute, it only functions correctly when it is open.
