I would like to know if any of you guys know where can I rent a decent car in Bogota for about 1 month.(low-profile car.) Please dont tell me Budget or Dollar because I cheked already there and it's like renting a car in South Beach, F.L. Very Expensive.

Mr. Hollywood says on Sep 28, 2004, 12:09: Cars here are expensive Car rentals are expensive because cars are expensive. There's not a whole lot you can do to get around that. You might get a better deal locally, though, than through the corporate websites because the local reps are enabled to bargain in ways the others aren't.

If you rente a car, not only will it be expensive but it will also be a hastle when it comes to parking. Its very much like NY, there is no where to park. You could also hire someone to drive you around. I went to Colombia last year and was going to rent a price but after seeing the prices I decided not to. My family suggested I hired one of their friends who had a Taxi to drive me around. It wasnt that expensive but at the end I decided to experience Bogota like a local, using the bus. poco says on Sep 28, 2004, 21:25: Forget renting a CAR Again,, forget it, do NOT get behind the wheel of a CAR. Absolutely not necessary. Now you've been told,, after that,, ignorance,,, becomes, well,,, no longer ignorance. Colombian Chickens are crowing about the new President of the U.S. who will assure that From each according to their ability to each according to their need. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
