Renting an apartment in Colombia

Hello,

What are some of the things that are needed for me to rent an apt in Colombia (Bog, Cali, Med)? I'm an American BTW if this makes a difference. I know to rent an apt in Brazil I needed a CDF or a local Brazilian to "co-sign" or guarantee that the monthly rent would be paid.

Thanks,

DJ.

deejboram It is normal for two co-signers if you go through a letting agent.

For a foreigner it can be a problem getting an apt through letting agents, your best bet is to look in the local newspapers, where people are renting to others, they will require a lot less paperwork off you.
