I rent rooms in a big house only 5 rooms so its quiet and friendly, close to all the action but far enough away to be quiet and SAFE, with pool, one room with tv, but tv room and free internet and local calls, normaly full, as it is now, clients here are english teachers on contracts, even if you dont want to live here it could be a good place to get your bearings and eveyone here can help and advise you, the barrio is santa monica residencial, dont hesitate to call for help and advice, there are other places here and close to my place for rent, Arthur Brode can also help if you are thinking of a long term stay, my place is not a hostal and neither a hotel, its like a house share.many people come for a month but end up staying for waayyyyy longer, I have 2 people on the waiting list, and realy Jan 08 is when a room may become avaliable. Nevertheless call if you need info, I'm from england and have lived here for 5 years. mail me or look back in past posts to find the house number because another member of this great site forbade ( not sure if that word exists) me to post my house number again, think it was Kat, a welsh locombiana, ha ( my names paul).

I have an UNFURNISHED 4br. apartment available now(but it wont be for long).Its up on a hill in Barrio San Antonio with a Terrace and nice views for 800,000 pesos per month.

800,000 per month is reasonable for me even though it is unfurnished.
