MIAMI -- A renowned criminal lawyer who consulted on behalf of Colombian drug kingpin Fabio Ochoa Vazquez was indicted on money laundering and other charges related to Ochoa's case, the U.S. Justice Department said Thursday.

The law clearly states that their clients can't pay legal services, (or post bail) with illegal gotten funds.If the attorney accepts cash from a client, and bypasses his trust account, he owes the government some time in a well guarded country club. Criminal defense attorneys do this all this time.
