relationships between colombians and americans

I am colombian who lives in the US, right now I am dating an American woman. I have never felt like this in my life, we are in love with each other but she has a lot of fears on who colombians are not faitfull and they are all about the looks. she keeps telling me that we colombians are all about the looks and what we have and all this, I dont think we are like that , I just think that Americans are jusst a litte bit more lay back. I want people who had experience dating colombians to let me know whatn they think. Also I have been tryin to explian to her that we colombians are nothing like mexicans, yes we are a little bit possesive and jelous but nothing major. I love this woman I want to marry her one day please reply and let her know everything about us colombians. she says the we are very sweet and we care a lot about our women I think that is true just let me know what you all think.

yeah, thats true about their children, they show such love,respect and playfulness to their kids. and their mothers, even if theyre not still with them. and a few of my friends actually DO have kids, with some ex-novia. however, my friends (who happens to be men,most of them)like their eyecandy, and in some cases actually play around. but they dont take much pride in it. they cheat, and they feel bad! they dont brag about it. hehehe. oh,by the way, they do give alot of compliments, and they all have really hot girlfriends, so they might be just a little superficial...just a little...a liiiitle bit....but hey, whos not superficial?? but thats only in the beginning,man! we all are!! then its the personality!
