Red Corvette Convertible

I see this and suddenly have the urge to buy a Red Corvette Convertible , slide in a "Little Feat" CD and hit the highway. Middle age crisis ? No-way . Sam

colombian women Hey Sam. that's my daughter, she literally stops traffic here (NYC) but is very, very, very high maintenance. At almost 6 feet with heels she’s my pride and joy and I love to show her off. In Barranquilla she had cousins just like her, that's why I go there all the time. She gets upset when I tell her that in Barranquilla she's not so special, that I see half a dozen of her walking down the streets of nice neighborhoods, at any given moment, that’s probably why she never wants to go. Sofia Vergara and Shakira are from there, need I say more.
I’m going thru mid age crisis and don’t plan to stop until I drop dead. In Colombia because you live in the USA the young girls find you interesting, even handsome no matter how old and ugly you are, I’m both.
A toma y culia que el mundo se va acaba! I live by that motto.
One question, who the hell is “little feat” I’m still listening to the Rolling Stones for god sake. Later!!

I'll get there, when I get there!

Little Feat It's a band from Atlanta circa 1969-70 . I'm 48 yrs old so I was rasied on the Stones/ Clapton / Beatles and all the rest etc. Little Feat was a Southern Band but was well known. You will find cd's in stores . I would trust you would like it. It's funky.
We'll got to comb my "George Jetson" hair and get to a meeting.

Thanks my friend / sam

remember when.... Hey Sam, funny you’re heading to a meeting, I just came out from one. Due to the National Republican Convention, just a block from us here in Manhattan, we have to decide weather to come in that week or not, this place is going to be one gigantic mess.
Little feat does sound familiar but as for southern music my favorite was Lynyrd Skynyrd “Freebird” Love listening to that specially when I hit the southern states off I-95 on my way down to Miami. I messed up my eardrum blasting Neil Young’s controversial “Southern Man”. Before headphones, late 60’s early 70’s here in NYC I used to take my two big ass speakers and put them on the floor facing each other about 12 inches apart and then stick my big fat stupid, long hair head in between and with a stick control the volume (no remote then) and of course I had to smoke Colombian gold, straight from Santa Marta. Damn I missed those days. Now, I’m just a drunk!

I'll get there, when I get there!

Ditto!!!! Hey Elmode :
I am lucky to have survied those days . We had it differently though, we wanted to share (turn on ) our friends not make a profit. Sharing was the way we where brought up, somewhere along the line the scene took a turm for the worst. I hope that kids today still hold on to some of those things we where taught about helping each other . Just thinking about that smell and taste of
"Clmb-Gold" takes me back.Remember sitting at a stop light with your friends and a cop pulls up beside everybody trying not to laugh and act stoned soeone saying: "Don't Look Over Man" " Don't Act Like your Stoned" . That would make us all cackle. There's alot to be said for expanding your mind, and we expanded alot in the late 60's early 70's........Enough of that ,hope you have a good weekend.
