I see the content of your post has been removed. So you've got it handled. Good.

Has anyone any recommendations please?

I shall be moving within the next few weeks within Medellin...so nothing special, just normal household goods and furniture...no complications like international shipments.

I want something efficient and dependable, an entity that knows how to transport bulky/heavy items without demolishing stairways and lifts. An entity which charges fair prices (not gringo prices) without depending on the casual labour that is available that day.

Many thanks

What the hell happened? I was typing my message when it was hijacked...normal for Colombia?

i made a local move within medellin last month. a very nice guy with a small truck and a helper. i had about 20 boxes, a TV, desk, clothes washer, 3 tables, and miscellaneous. they moved it all from one apartment to the other (both buildings had elevators) for 60,000 pesos. took about 2 hours. they also gave me a ride in the truck. a colombian friend of mine who has been using him for 10 years recommended him. want his number?

yes, and i can tell you they are better than any company that i used in the usa. they moved a van full from bogota to medellin and not one thing was missing or broken.............and i have lots of fragile valuables.

you might have to call the bogota number but they are always here in medellin.
