Hello,
I am currently travelling in central america, but will be travelling down to Peru. I would like to do the the Machu Pichu treck in June. I understand that it is best to book it asap, rather than when I get to Peru (which will be just a month before I hope to do the treck)?
My question is, can anyone recommend a tour operator to book the treck through? I am on a tight travellers budget, so a cheap but reliable one would be great, and I am looking to do the 4 day treck.
Any suggestions much appreciated,
thank you,
Lena

I'd also recommend one of the alternative treks - particularly Salkantay which is breathtaking as you take in a number of landscapes - If I remember correctly (after bargaining hard) I go this for around 140 dollars.
