WOW, I'm surprised to hear you had a problem with www.flowerstocolombia.com.

I've been using Flowers to Colombia for a couple years to send flowers and gifts to my boyfriend in Colombia and the service has always been excellent. They also have a rental business and I stay there when I travel to Bogota.

I would definitely report any problems to the owner.

I look at the site Mario listed, or La Tienda de Las Rosas and a bunch of others. They're all $50 USD or higher for two dozen roses. With the exception of Valentine's Day or Mother's Day in the U.S., that's no bargain.

I also did what you suggested, during my last visit to bogota I found a florist near my girlfriends house, they don't take credit cards so I just left a couple hundred dollars and I call them when I need a delivery, so far so good.
