bufalo says on Sep 14, 2007, 06:55: Did you get any of these services done? We should be hitting Medellin soon and I need some dental done, considering eyes. How do you find doctors here? It's so-so for me. I had old metal filings that I had changed because they look better, but have to have them changed almost every year! At first I thought the doctors here were better, but am starting to question that.... bufalo says on Sep 16, 2007, 05:29: fist through a painting? What a moron. I went to MoMa in NYC a few years back with a Paisa, real cute, but not much upstairs. While walking around she asked how long it took to copy each painting for display! I quietly told her they were all originals and she blurts out "They're all real!" in front of everyone, I was so ebarassed. I actually don't have any pics from the museum, I only went in once quick. Most of my Barcelona experience was having a great time with my daughter, who was 2. The really great thing about it there is that the whole city is a museum. Out in the streets there's tons of things by Gaudi, Miró and Picasso. Well maybe not the last two so much, but there is art everywhere. Singing around one corner, musicians on another, festivals, parades, capoeira, films, street theater, etc. We'd spend all day outside and not get bored at all, and almost everything is free. Even the Barrio Gótico is huge, right where we lived, easily beats Cartagena's Ciudad Amurallada. I really love Colombia, but here in Armenia I'm bored out of my mind!
