real estate agents in medellin

does anyone know of a good real estate agent in medellin that can find me something in a decent area? Also, what is another decent area besides El poblado? I think I read about an area called laurelas. I know I missed spelled it. Also I speak some spanish but would prefer someone that speaks a little ingles. gracias.

There are several barrios that are good areas and one of them is Laureles. Poblado is nice but it's expensive and far from everything.

real estate This is the worst time to buy anything in colombia unless you have money to throw away. The dollar has lost over 20% in value in 2 years against the peso. Apartments and housing are at a premium. Rent for a couple of years and look around for a deal. If you want to play the rich gringo there is no stigma attached to renting versus owning in Colombia as it is up here.

My wife's apartment is in a nice area too. Strata 4 but only because they fought being reclassified to Strata 5. It's quite close to Laureles - Belen Miravalle.
