For Ibuprophen to mess up your kidneys, you have to take massive doses for a long time. For example, I took 2 800mg tabs a day for a lung inflamation for 2 weeks. The doctor knew I was a drinker. An Advil has I think 200 mgs per tablet.

Acemetophin (Tylenol) can totally F your liver in high doses. Bigtime, and real fast if you drink a lot. Most chronic alcoholics die from liver disease or heart disease. A liver works it's ass off trying to process alcohol. Add Tylenol, and it is like throwing gas on a fire.

Drink lots of water, take an Advil or two. But DON'T take a Tylenol while drinking or especially if you drink regularly.
