No, I don't have an opinion one way or another regarding race, it is a non-issue for me. However the topic is posted on PBH on a regular basis and I thought some members might like to read what has been written in this book.

Another book that's an interesting commentary on race in Colombia is "My Cocaine Museum" by, I think, Michael Taussig. It's an anthropological book about Afro Colombian gold miners in Choco.
