Dan says on Sep 20, 2005, 14:03: 6 to 8 weeks is a standard answer. It can always be shorter or longer. Once you send in what they ask for, they send the documentation to the Embassy. Depending on the time of the month that they send it, it could take 1 to 2 months for the medical exams and to schedule an interview. God Bless America! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

utopiacowboy says on Sep 20, 2005, 16:03: You're getting close, Quibaya. Just think, when she gets the CR-1 and enters the US, she will immediately have the status of a green card holder (the actual card won't arrive until a few weeks later). She will be able to work and you won't have the hassle of AOS and all the other crap K-1 people have to go through. Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
