questions

AS an illegal colombian in Los Angeles it is completely impossible to go to Colombia and come back legally is this correct?

Also what are the ways an illegal colombian can get residence if one has lived in los angeles for about 15 years and graduated high school and attending a Junior college. your help is appreciated

RE: questions dude im in the same situation as you Im 18 just graduated high school am completely illegal have lived here for bout 16.5 years

and to tell you the truth no matter how long you lived here it doesnt matter you cant get legal unless they give us the TPS or an amnesty which doesnt look like they will for years or you get married (which to find a girl at our age will be rlly hard to drop everytin and get married)

I personally am going back to colombia in a few months so i can go to college drive and hopefully ge ta job and live a much more normal life then here. I dont have the time to sit around and wait for something thta might not even come. And i rlly cant afford school right now because my parents are illegal too and they have enough debts as it is. So since i am fluent in both english and spanish im sure that will help me allllooooottt in colombia.

So if you dont go back to colombia, i suggest you do the best you can and wait for an amnesty or somethin

TE DESEO MUCHA SUERTE Y VIVA COLOMBIA!!!

RE: questions Hey guys, have you tried the US armed forces? Talk to a recruiter near you and tell them your situation. Tell them you want to re-pay this country for what it has given you, etc. etc. They might be able to work something out for you. Go into the reserves - especially Army or Navy. I think they have two-year contracts. The time goes quick - only one week-end a month. Just a quick question: how did you guys make it all the way here from colombia? sounds like it must have been pretty rough. Anyway, hope this points you in the direction you want to go.

RE: questions You don't have to be a citizen to join the armed forces. I am Mexican and I spent four years in the Marine Corps and I met a lot of Marines that were not citizens - keep in mind the Corps is the smallest branch in the service so imagine how many non-cits are in the other brances. I actually meant call a recruiter from a pay phone or something like that. Don't call from your house or show up to their office in person, bright guy!!

You dont have to be a citizen to join the US Armed Forces.

Check it out online or call your recruiter first.

Legal Like many latinos did before, join one of the armed forces, volunteer for combat, if you survive, they give you citizenship!
Remember, the freedom we ahve today here is that blood was spilled by many before so people like you could prosper someday.

Trust no one...except God. Hope to retire in Colombia
