Question about ADAFIT SUPORT in the interview

Hi, my husband (american citizen)filed for my visa, me as a alien relative...He is in america and has been sending all the docuemente he has been asked in the NVC, including Adafit suport.Im in Col.
Im getting reading for my interview in Bogota and it says on the webapge that Adafit suport form (I-864) should be taken to the interview, but my husband had already sent all this info and forms to the NVC since he is in america.
Does this aplies to me? Do I need to ask my husband to send me this form notarized?, eventought he was asked for it before in NVC?
THANKS!!!!!!!!

If you were making what s called a direct consular filing with the embassy then you would need the I-864. In your case, your husband took care of it by sending it to the NVC. You will get a packet with instructions from the embassy.

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

I'd bring it to be safe. You don't want to get there and have them ask you for something you don't have. What a nightmare that would be. Better safe than sorry.

The Embassy is Stupid I was with my wife at the US Embassy in Bogota this past April 12 for her CR-1 interview. The packet was full of inaccuracies (which arrived to her apartment in the mail about 10 days AFTER our interview - she had to go to the embassy the week before the interview to pick up another one). I'm guessing they just use the same checklist for every different visa and are too lazy to change it. For example, the list required the I-864, employer letter, and $380. I didn't bring any of that since I had already done it. However, it said we needed the original or a certified copy of my wife's baptism certificate, the original or a certified copy of her birth certificate, photos, etc. We ran all over Bogota during Holy Week to get these things, but couldn't get her birth cert. We used a plain old photocopy and that was acceptable. In our green folder they give the day of the interview to put all your papers into in the 'proper order', I think we had about four or five papers altogether (maybe her appointment letter, baptism, birth and DS230?).

And here I figured that the CR packet would be relatively accurate! Thanks Mrblablazo for setting me straight.
