La diferencia entre las visas de casados y de fiancée es de 2-3 meses. Si no tiene problema en esperar unos meses más, le recomiendo la visa CR1.

A K1 and a K3, fiance and marriage, visa have about the same processing times. You can get the current average processing times from www.visajourney.com. As of this last year, they took about 6 to 8 months from initial petition to the visa being granted. Of course, with a K3, you obviously have to be married first. So, add on all the time, expense, and effort it will take to get married before you even can submit the K3 petition. So if time is the most important thing for you guys, a K1 is quicker. If everything is done completely and accurately with your paperwork filing, you can expect the process to be in the 6 month range.

Also, if money is an issue, don't forget that K1 and K3 visas have to file for Adjustment of Status which will cost $1,010USD and it will take about 3-6 months to process.
