PURCHASING ART in Bogota (little help)

I will be heading back to Bogota in a couple of days and I am looking into purchasing some art. I am looking for paintings, landscapes and streetscapes (if there is such a word, meaning paintings of streets with dwellings).

Any suggestions on where to go or look?

Last year I made a number of paintings during my time in Colombia. I made paintings of Choco, the botanical garden in Medellin and the area surrounding Medellin.

There's lots of art and artisan shops on Calle 52, (or is it 51 or 53?), with Kr 13, I think. Sorry, not being very helpful. A lot of it is crap, but there are 1 or 2 gems.

As a matter of fact the area Alma del Norte refers to, is called Galerias, there are many art galeries. Mostly from calle 53 and carrera 24, going north.

Also check the people selling at San Pelayo on sundays behind hacienda Santa Barbara. It is a good place to be on sundays.
