Public tennis courts in Bogota?

Have been looking for a place to play for a couple of weeks, but no luck. The clubs are mostly for lessons or very costly. Anyone can recommend a convenient, cheap and good place in Bogota?

There are meny tennis courts in Bogotá most of them are in San Jose de Bavaria, west of Autopista Norte and 184. They will rent the court for USD 10 per hour, it depends on the time of the day, at night they will charge a little more. Othe options will be in Clubs like Cafam or schools with tenis courts.

The ones in San Jose de Bavaria are clay courts. You might find some more in some neigborhoods parks. Pablo IV, for example. At Niza antigua they got the posts, you take the net and play all you want but the surface might not be the best.

Check out the courts on la UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL.They are free, near to the IPARM (the universidad´s nacional high school). Or more easier, just go to el parque nacional olaya herera and in the middle, you can find free courts.

You can play against the wall in Parque Nacional (Cra 7, with Calle 35-ish) for free, or play on a decent clay court for $12.000 an hour. Only crowded on weekends.
