Just wanted to mention a few things to those of you who might care:
Hamburguesas del Oeste y Champions.... Chris, a great guy, very nice and willing to tell you anything you want to know. What a great little bar also! I plan to cathc every one of my Cowboy games there and recommend for sure you try the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich!!! Que Bueno!!!! Thanks for the advice Chris and I look forward to shootin' the shit with you more in the future.
The Apartment Medellin.... Andrew and Jim are great guys, and what a good experience for a rental! Yes, I know I paid a high-price to stay in Poblado but I dont care. I wanted more luxurious accomodations for my first time there and I definitely got them! They were very helpful, friendly and went far out of there way to help me when I had any requests or concerns.
A recommended Taxi Driver.... Camilo, with Flota Bernsal S.A. Taxi Service. This guy was AWESOME and there is no way you could find any better of a driver. I rented him out by hour for 3 of my 7 nights at 18k COP per hour but paid him 20k per hour. This guy will take you ANYWHERE at ANYTIME without complaining and even make recommendations or halp you with communication. He speaks some fast-ass Medellin Spanish so good luck if you dont speak any Spanish at all, but there is nothing he wont do for you. He watched out for my safety but still helped me get in trouble! We even went one night to a festival and he parked the taxi and walked around with me and halped me take in the sights, sounds and culture! He works 4p to 4a and can be reached at 311-754-0742 and be sure to tell him Brad sent you and you got his info from the internet!!!
Have a great night!
