Hello, I was wondering if I had a person to sign the afidavit for support, is just the last year tax income needed or do they need 2 or more years of income proof.

ricardotexas says on Mar 22, 2007, 09:43: if you are refering to a sponser if you are needing a sponser that is something like a co-signer, they will need to fill out the 2nd form for the sponser. i am telling you this cause its what i did. they had asked me to just send the last year, but to be prepared, try to get the last 3 years. also you will need them have there employer type like a letter showing they are currently employed there still, there hire date, the hourly income and position. have it done on there company letter head. you will need there birth certificate ( send original), copy of license, and copy of social security card. make sure your sponser qualifies first. if you want you can get with me and i can tell you what he of she will need to make to qualify. i went to this same process with a sponser.
