PBH / colombia (travelguide, pictures) / post |
there are plently of other places, sites, and people to talk too, without polluting this site with random religous preaching, whatever it may happen to be.
i understand the pope died,
contrary i believe this site is no place to discuss the pope's death.
the roman catholics and sympathizers of sean pual II should be consious, that if they are prepared to discuss such a topic, that there are other strangers using this site who may not be so sympathetic, or even less than sypathetic.
you can not post your beliefs to strangers, and not expect opinions, or disrespect, espiecally with an issue as sensitive as religion.
for this reason i think it best users dont post there beliefs.
i think a new rule would be in order,
for example,
5. Religous talk is to be kept factual, and on subject: Colombia

Miguel says on Apr 3, 2005, 17:48: First of all... Who is Sean Paul? Second, Sonny, while I understand and agree with where you are coming from, I think it's way too harsh to deem this guy's life unecessary. Third, and most important, Colombia and America Latina is as Catholic as it comes, so the interest in current events is a given.

Sonny says on Apr 5, 2005, 17:12: don negro As a little boy you still have a lot to learn. Trashing anyones' christian or catholic faith is not a good thing. These things are better left alone. As you grow up you will understand the importance of this. At 19 you have a lone way to go but that is normal. You once stated that you were changing you ways and you were going to be good. You post stated that you worked in a kitchen to earn enough money to go to another country NOT come back. Read it I am. Friends???? How do you place a value on that?? They are like memories, without them you have nothing 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Mr. Hollywood says on Apr 5, 2005, 18:39: An idea Hey Don Negro, I'm not a fan of the pope either, and was surprised by the vast outpouring of comments here about his death since it's not directly related to Colombia. But obviously he meant a lot of other people and the world is a big enough tent for all of us. I just skipped over the 6 or 7 pope topics and I'm happy as a clam. I suggest you try the same next time.

Sonny says on Apr 5, 2005, 20:39: don negro so much to don negro you have so much to learn. Many people here speak more then five languages. Yes, your correct, discussing things with you is much like talking to a monkey coached to use the computer. They are taught to write without thinking of the impact. Most appear to be smarter then you however. And, again you are right saying that you do not have the capacity to think about something better to say.I do understand I promise. Stop trying to be a grown up and accept the fact you just a kid with a computer and stop with the insults. Friends???? How do you place a value on that?? They are like memories, without them you have nothing 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

CLALORENA says on Apr 6, 2005, 02:41: Don Negro I dont agree with those who are talking about the Pope's death as it was anyone, Don Negro i you are not Catholic it's ok, but you should respect our religion as you wouldn't want whatever your religions is to be criticised, i think we all believe in the same God the only diference is that we do it in a different way. The Pope was a good man and help a los of people that's way 70% in the world are crying his dead. Lorenita 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

kernow62 says on Apr 6, 2005, 04:34: 70% is a bit on the high side. About a third of the people in the world are Christians, and a percentage of this 33% are Catholic. However I shall not lower myself to engaging in specifics about what I like or don't like about the pope, this isn't the place for it.
