My GF would kill me if I was there! It cost $28 via public transportation from Philly and about that much with the current price of fuel with taxes before parking there!

I ate at a Colombian restaurant in Philly along Wyoming Ave.and saw some of the music playing via Caracol in Colombia on Sunday. Yes, the food was a rip off! My 330 ml Pony Malta was $2 and my GF's was 2300 pesos for 1 liter in Cali. The platano and avocado slice were as small as my finger's width!

Maybe next time I can get there? It is good to miss a party to make your woman happy or else they think you want another Colombiana!

I tried to have a bunch have a cookout like we had a few years ago at Rubito's place in the Bronx. Over 100,000 just makes it more challenging!

Usually I get to Cali about every few months, but it has been 4 months since my last trip. The time away is causing the stress, so that's the issue as I see it now.

after 3 or 4, the NYC colombians show up and is total mayhem.
At around 4 pm On my way to buy an illegal beeer from the mexicans I see this colombian kid get stabbed in the uppper part of the chest to the right.
cachi (daughter's friend) says "ohshit, the kid can't get up?"
I says 'why the fok not, he only got shanck onece, he'll be alright"
later the kid got up and walked to the ambulance un attended.
cops put yellow no crossing tape around that area and the party continued.

But yes, according to my girlfriend most of them have never been to Colombia (some even stated that their goal was to visit). Most didn't even know much about their country, but did learn a lot when they researched the state they represented. And most are not from the state they represented so it was truly educational for them.

BTW - there were LOTS of hot Colombianas at the pageant. A policeman who was working as a guard was happy to be working this stint where women were dressed to the 9's.

The police cars kept zooming through crowds of people, barely giving them enough time to get out of the way. They hit one guy with the car and kept going.

In regards to latinos being ghetto, i suppose it sucks. I have met a couple of kind of ghetto Colombians in London but nothing like those on the video. Colombians here are for the most part from pretty humble origins but very hardworking and with little time to join that sort of fads.

CG, Colombia has gorgeous women, I am sure you know that (I've heard you're married to one) and these girls are very below average. They can be super nice and friendly but they do look a bit lobas...I guess that's what's "in" for latinas in the US, plus its summer time. I think most Colombianas (not including me, unfortunately) are just naturally sexy, they walk with great posture and there is just something attractive about them...but sometimes many of them try too hard and that looks a bit fake IMO.
