I'll be moving to Colombia in about a year, the outskirts of Armenia.
I'm pretty attached to the sports and news coverage in the U.S.
Does anyone know if, for example, I subscribe to DirecTV in the US and continue to pay for it in the US, should I be able to bing the satellite and receivers to Colombia and have them work there?? Assuming of course, that I can point them to the right satellite.
Since most of the stateside satellite cable providers 'point' their satellites south, I would assume that their satellites would cover Colombia and I should be able to do this. Does anyone have firm confirmation of this?
Thank you very much,
El GoLdo

Colombian Services says on Feb 21, 2006, 09:45: U.S. TV Check this link out about receiving U.S. TV in Colombia, http://slingbox.com, if everything is correct I'll be buying one in April when I return to the U.S., I think Wal-Mart even sells the unit for about $289.
