ietk says on Jun 12, 2008, 07:47: Is not that they are afraid to export, it is the market if they do not see a mexican actor/actress they will not buy it, Univision, Galavision, Telefutura are mexican owned and Telemundo is co-producing telenovelas in Colombia with RTI again with mexican actors.

ietk says on Jun 12, 2008, 08:16: Monpiri, don get me wrong I have nothing against Colombian actors or productions as a matter of fact I am Colombian, is just that I have been living here in the U.S for so much time I lost track of Colombian tv, I saw Betty la Fea in Telemundo just because it was Colombian and it was funny too I usually do not watch telebobelas either, that same Betty la Fea was renamed as La Fea mas Bella and aired in Mexico was produced by Televisa and in U.S was aired by Univision, it was nothing compared to the original but in Mexico they loved it, and there are plenty on Colombia actors working here in Miami one of the is Marisol Correa she is working on a channel called AmericaTv.
