Por presuntos vínculos con las Farc, detienen en Miami a ex candidato del Polo

El escritor y comunicador independiente, Athemay Sterling ,colaborador habitual de Anncol, fue requerido por las autoridades estadounidenses.


Trascendió en versiones periodísticas que ese llamado obedece a una presunta vinculación de Sterling con las Farc.

En representación del Polo Democrático Alternativo , Sterling presentó su nombre como candidato a la Asamblea del Valle en las elecciones pasadas.

Es abogado Defensor de Derechos Humanos. También ha sido director Centro de Derechos Humanos de la Universidad Santiago de Cali.

De igual forma, ha sido Director Derecho Preventivo y Derechos Humanos, Subdirector CPDH-Valle, Integrante Comisión de Impulso al Intercambio Humanitario, e integrante del equipo periodístico del Semanario VOZ.
