What Peter started years ago has, to say the least, has morphed into something beyond his wildest expectations. PBH has become more than just a travel site; it is a forum about Colombia and all of the issues the country has, from the longest lasting civil war in Latin America and the availability to cheap pussy, to simple questions about whatever.

I suggest that we do away with mods and just let the fur fly, which is actually going on. No more censorship where a guy like elmo can be 86th because darloup, desi, and kat1 choose to put him in this fishbowl.

Here's a suggestion, Why not have a "Free PBH" section, wher anythting goes, and a regular "Regulated PBH, where the Mods have all the rules, the rules are set. IN the "Frre PBH section" you could have a wraning about policitically incorrect , sexist and offensive material being present, if you are offended by this, please go to the "Serious PBH" section, where these POSTS are not included. (of course overt racism in either site, PBH should not be open to hate-mongers under any circumstances (that means you Kostner guy) site, under any circumstance) And the regulated PBH section posts could be available to the FREE PBH posts, but not vice versea. That way female backpackesrs and the like would not get scared off, but serious Posts in the "Regulated PBH"section could be available to a larger , all-inclusive audience.

I have plenty of experience on various internet forums. The ones without moderation almost always fail. A few posters make it so difficult for ordinary users to read and use the forum that they give up and leave and the forum dies while the shouters win.

You guys never know which one of the mods did what because we like to keep it that way. It's TEAM WORK. You just THINK that you know.

NONE of us are professional. We all volunteer our time, we are not trained or have a diploma in moderating. You just get along better with some of us or there's better chemistry between you and tinto than you and kat. That's all, morphus.
