Please! One last check if anyone knows if there is luggage storage in the Barranquilla airport?

I have a long layover in Barranquilla and want to head to the mall for a bit. I just need somewhere to leave my luggage. Anyone got info on this?

many thanks.

How long is your stop over, the airport is quite a long way from the big malls in the north.
There is a shopping center close to the airport on la 30......that might suit your needs??

I´ve got about 6-7 hours on my hands but I don´t like checking my luggage really early. The one mall I´m thinking of in the north has restaurants up top. Somewhere to while some time away...

ok, well then that is enough time to do everything in Barranquilla!!
A taxi to Buenavista is about 30 minutes (depends on time of day) and will cost about 20-25mil pesos.
As for the luggage, I am not what you could do. I have no idea if you can leave your stuff there.

Thanks for the help. I think I´m just going to take a later transport to Barranquilla and sit it out in the airport.

No storage at the BQ airport....you can pick up free wifi while in the airport waiting :-) Besides that it is not a great airport for killing time.

Why not check into a motel where you pay for a few hours or a recidencia. I've negociated a room for a siesta in the past. In Barranquilla there are motels in the centre of the town (ask the taxi driver).
