Hello all,
As some here already know, I have a website partially devoted to all things Colombian with one page that specifically puts as many resources as possible for people to use. Many have written to me about seeing more pictures from Colombia as well as linking to others' experiences.
Some of you have very nice websites and/or picture sites that I would like to link to with a small foto and description as I already have with Goosekirk and Tinto for example. I only have four folks linked to and I know there are many more.
Also, there seems to be a real shortage of webcams in Colombia so if you know of any, please let me know so I can link them too. Or, if you have your own webcam at home and are willing to link, let me know.
Last, if you have any suggestions as to what else I could post that would help people, let me know. Thank you and keep up the spirit and please feel free to link to me from your site as well. :)
Here is the page:

ACBlessing says on Jan 23, 2005, 11:27: Yep That's a good idea. Kinda break up the photo galleries into geographical areas? For now, I don't have enough content, only five folks so far and of those five, they have been all around Colombia so it would be hard to categorize them so far. Maybe if I get some more links. Is that what you were thinking? Just plain poor 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

ACBlessing says on Jan 23, 2005, 12:17: You got it Since my GF and my family wanted prints, I took a Canon Elph APS camera along with my digital camera. I have a pair of 1Gb sticks too which come in handy for shooting everything and sorting later. The point is with the APS film, I took them into Fotojapon and some other place at the mall (Salitre) and got prints AND CDs back. I gave away the prints and kept the CDs. And for every roll of film developed, they give you a new roll. I never ran out of film and processing them in Colombia was a lot cheaper than here. Oh, my laptop has a burner in it so I just brought a couple extra CDs with me...that's a LOT of foto capacity. Just plain poor 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

kernow62 says on Jan 23, 2005, 12:31: I had about 4 Gbs of cards with me and because I only used my 2 MP camera it was more than enough. Will Photo Japon or similar burn a CD from memory cards, if so what type? Mine uses old time SmartMedia, but I have a PCMCIA adapter and a USB adapter that I could bring along, but I think the latter needs USBMS driver loaded into the host PC. In the UK there is a neat unit that will accept any 9.5mm laptop drive and is a standalone card reader that reads all current formats except PCMCIA. I think if you get it shipped to the US it is about $100.
