don`t try to go chip, and make sure, listen well, make sure you don`t suffer from hypothermia after the surgery, my dear friend had the same you are talking about, and she almost broke her teeth from shaking so much from hypothermia right after the surgery, it was not a very pleasant experience, other than that she looks great.

i had lipo and a tummy tuck here in bogota and i almost died. i had a policy with american express to fly me out of here if anything went wrong and i would have used it if they didn't take my phone from me.

i don't know how tall you are, but how much are they going to take out, 5 kilos?

that's not going to change you that much; it sounds like you want the tuck along with it to flatten your stomach.

dude, it's not worth it.............but if you are going to do it, make sure you get a good doctor and hospital.

I haven't met or known one person who had lipo that didn't say it was absolute hell on Earth afterwords. One guy told me he would have eaten a bullet sandwich if he had the energy to pick up a gun. That guy shared a room with a regular poster here on this site, ironically enough, after his surgery. Get a phenominal doctor, a top notch hospital, and make sure you are liberal with the pain pills. I salute your bravery. I am too chicken to go to the dentist!

RJ-you would like my Dentist in Bogota! She has a nice touch, many Posters here on PBH have used her and NO complaints about pain.I had 14 teeth worked on by her in a 2 week stretch, some days I was in the chair up to 4 hours a day.

I know a dentist / orthodontist in Bogota. She also practices in Villavo and Acacias. But I don't trust anybody that I have drank Aguardiente Llanero with, when it comes to surgery or my teeth! hahaha

Yea, you would have to keep a close eye on a Dentist like that, at least in the Clinic with the Drill in her hand! LOL A friend of mine from Cali who lives in Miami had her teeth done last year(in cali) and I have never seen a better job anywhere. It was a complete dental makeover and it cost her around $1500-she had whiter and better teeth then any Movie Star. Absolutely Incredible. If she had that quality of work done here in Miami it would have been at least $8000 USD. They have some good Dentists in Cali for sure,,,Pm me if you want to see some before&after Pics of the Miracle she performed on my then Tobacco stained buckteeth.

Seriously, check out the clinic i gave the link to.... they take great care of you during every aspect of your trip... i have known people who have gone there (LOTS) of people and even those with complications (which is a risk for every surgery... doesnt matter WHERE YOU GET IT DONE) were taken exceptional care of until they were well/fixed!!!
