Most of the plastic surgeons in colombia belong to the colombian society of plastic surgery (Sociedad Colombiana de cirugía Plástica). You can visit http://www.cirugiaplastica.org.co/ and see if your plastic surgeon belong to this society.

There is no other official society of plastic or cosmetic surgery in Colombia than this. Be careful when someone tells he or she belong to any other society of aesthetic surgery in Colombia.

in barranquilla DOCS IN BARRANQUILLA:
a friend of mine recommended him like 100%
my mom had surgery with Juan Carlos Torres and she loved him (she's a doctor too)
i had it with dr. Valiente, he's reliable, but i think he's much stronger in breast enlargement, reduction and reconstruction
